Claire & Jérome, na Cordoaria
Claire & Jérome at Cordoaria

I have been lucky enough to take photos of some couples reading. I remember Nuno and Rita, Manuel and Virgínia, and the germans Fräulein Bernd. Now they are joined by Claire and Jérome, two French from Montpellier who came to Portugal to spend a ten day holidays, some of them in Porto. I saw them reading at Cordoaria’s Garden, just like you can see in the photo, and they looked irresistible! Claire was reading a detective story named "Heather Mallender a Disparu”, a pocket size book that was placed in relief at the book store and whose press review highlighted on the cover caught her eye. Jérome was reading the french edition of “The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Stepped Out Of The Window And Disappeared", also pocket size, a bestseller he saw at the book store and thought it would be fun to read during is vacations.
