Não imaginam como fico feliz quando vejo o Porto invadido por turistas de todas as partes do mundo! Vivo nesta cidade maravilhosa desde 2000 e a diferença de há uns anos a esta parte no que diz respeito a visitantes é abissal: antigamente vinham os espanhóis na Páscoa e os emigrantes no verão; hoje em dia já é frequente ouvir falar inglês com sotaque dos "states" nos Aliados ou cruzar-me na praia com italianos. Aí há dias até vi uma miúda coreana a ler na Cordoaria. A Jiwon, que está a estudar em Itália, andava a dar um longo passeio entre Portugal e Espanha e tinha trazido na bagagem o livro de um viajante, também ele coreano, que se dedica a fotografar e a escrever sobre as gentes que vai conhecendo no decorrer das suas jornadas. São, ao todo, 90 histórias acompanhadas de belíssimas imagens.

You can't imagine how happy I am when I see Porto
being invaded by tourists of all parts of the world. I live in this wonderful
city since 2000 and the difference between a few years ago and now regarding
visitors is abyssal: in the old days the Spanish arrived at Easter and
the Portuguese emigrants in the Summer; nowadays it is usual to hear someone
speaking English with a "states" accent at Aliados or to find
Italians at the beach. A few days ago I saw a Korean girl reading at Cordoaria.
Jiwon, who is studying in Italy, was in a long journey between Portugal
and Spain and had brought in her luggage the book of a traveler, also Korean, who
dedicates himself to photograph and write about the people he meets while
travelling. There are, in total, 90 stories accompanied by beautiful images.

É sempre bom ler os teus posts. Pelas fotografias, pela paixão pelos livros, pelas pequeninas histórias à volta disto tudo. E hoje houve mais uma razão. Reavivaste as minhas saudades de Seul. Obrigado!
