A Virginie é do Quebec e quando a fotografei no Jardim da Cordoaria, no Porto, andava a viajar sozinha por Espanha e Portugal. Tinha consigo um pequeno livro, em formato de bolso, que encontrou em Madrid num local para troca de livros. Deixou lá um que tinha trazido consigo do Canadá e trouxe o que se vê na imagem, o romance "Another Country". Escolheu-o porque era pequeno, logo fácil de transportar de um lado para o outro, mas também por estar escrito em inglês, idioma que diz ter necessidade de aperfeiçoar. Infelizmente, estava a achar a história algo aborrecida, com muito pouca ação.

Virginie is from Quebec and when I took her picture at Cordoaria's
Garden, in Porto, she was travelling alone trough Spain and Portugal. She had
with her a small book, pocket size, that she found in Madrid in a book exchange
place. She left there one she had brought with her from Canada and took
the one we can see in the picture, the novel "Another Country".
She chose that one because it was small, therefore easy to carry from one place
to another, but also because it is written in English, a language she feels the
need to improve. Unfortunately she was finding the story a bit dull, with little action.
